Kowabunga Dude! It is time for Home School Days at Nashville Shores.
Nashville Shores in Hermitage, Tennessee never seems to disappoint when it comes to splashing water fun during the hottest months of the year. Once again, the water park will host Nashville Shores Home School Days that will help you either celebrate the end of the summer or the start of a new school year.
There is no doubt, the months of July and August are two of the hottest months of the year in Tennessee. Usually during those times, all I want to do is stay indoors or if outside, spend it floating in a swimming pool. With more than one million gallons of water fun from the pool to the other water areas, Nashville Shores is not a bad place fun to hang out this summer. There is active fun to be had on the Big Kahuna Family Raft Slide, Breaker Bay Wave Pool, Kowabunga Beach and the Giant Bucket of Fun. If you need to tone it down a little bit, spend some time floating down the Castaway Creek Lazy River, which is 1,000 feet long. Those are just some of the water areas where you may cool down under the summer sun. See what else the water park has to offer. Nashville Shores has fun for the entire family.
Home School Days will be held Monday, July 24, through Sunday, August 6. Tickets for homeschoolers are just $18.99 plus tax, which is 48 percent off the regular daily admission price. No school I.D. is required; it is on the honor system, so just tell them you are a homeschooler. If you want to bring your non-homeschool friends or other family members, they may enter with your discount, but you must purchase all of your tickets at the same time. Everyone entering the park must purchase a ticket. There are several non-water activities for those people who do not want to get wet. Children two years old and younger are free. Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased either online by using promo code HOMESCHOOL17 or at the gate. Parking is $9.
Some notes to remember for the day are the following:
