Campus Tours: Homeschool Visit Day at Bryan College

Bryan College is holding a Homeschool Visit Day on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST for prospective students to learn more about the college on a firsthand basis. Prospective students will visits classes, attend worship, eat lunch in the Latimer Student Center dining hall, and tour the campus. There will also be a panel for parents to attend. An optional activity before the day ends includes a Scopes Trial Live Presentation (Historic Rhea County Courthouse) that lasts for about 45 minutes.

Bryan Osborne, from Answers in Genesis, will be the special speaker!

Homeschool visit day is an opportunity for students to experience Bryan College on a firsthand basis. Students will have the chance to attend class with our professors, eat in the Latimer Student Center, and truly get a behind the scene look at being a Lion. In addition, Bryan Osborne, from Answers in Genesis, will be here as a special speaker! This event will begin at 8:30 and end at 2:15.  A live presentation of the Scopes Trial will follow at the Historic Downtown Rhea County courthouse at 2:30. This presentation will last approximately 45 minutes and is free of charge. Email [email protected] if you have questions. 

SCHEDULE

8 a.m. –  Check-in (Rudd Auditorium)

8:30 a.m. –  Welcome Session (Rudd Auditorium)

9 a.m. –  Parent Panel

10 a.m. – Bryan Osborne, Quick Answers to Tough Questions (Rudd Auditorium)

11 a.m. – Lunch (Latimer Student Center)

12 p.m. – Campus Tour or Department visits 

1 p.m. – Bryan Osborne, Why Won’t They Listen (Rudd Auditorium)

2 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. – Final session (Rudd Auditorium)

2:30 p.m.  – OPTIONAL – Scopes Trial Live Presentation (Historic Rhea County Courthouse)

Students will be able to attend classes at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. 12 p.m., and 1 p.m.
