“Women in History” Junior Ranger Program to be Held at Shiloh National Military Park

Shiloh National Military Park is inviting Junior Rangers to attend the “Women  in History” program that will be held in Corinth, Mississippi on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in its Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center.

“Well-behaved women seldom make history.” — Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Junior Rangers will learn about the women who helped shape the United States with a special focus on women who were in Corinth or Shiloh during the Civil War. Participants will also complete activities in the Junior Suffragist Activity Book from Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument. All children completing the activities will receive a special Junior Ranger badge.

Participation in the camp is free to registered Junior Rangers and their guardians. Because there is a limit of only 40 Junior Rangers (parents and guardians are always welcome but are not counted as part of the 40) that may participate, those interested are encouraged to register soon. You may register by calling (662) 287-9273.
