Jackson State Community College Needs Your Help: Name Its Green Jay Mascot
Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee needs your help to name its Green Jay mascot. The Green Jay is now a real-life mascot, so he needs a name. After all, what is a mascot without a name?
You may vote for a new name throughout the month of March choosing from one of the following: Jax, Squawk, or Lux – Part of the scientific name for “Green Jay”. The winning name will be announced on Monday, April 1, 2024.
Since many public, private, and homeschool students attend the college using the Tennessee Promise scholarship, those students may want to have a say as to the name of their college mascot. What do you say? Vote today!
