Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary to Hold Preview Day

Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary invites prospective students to attend its spring Preview Day – Light the Way that will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on its Memphis campus.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to sit in on a class, attend a chapel service, and take a tour its campus and apartment-style housing. Professors and current students will be on hand for you to ask questions about class and campus life. The offices of Student Life, Financial Aid, and Registrar will be present to answer admission and financial aid questions. Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary President Dr. Michael Spradlin will also ne present to speak to preview day guests.

SCHEDULE

8 a.m. – Check-in and light breakfast

8:30 a.m. – Prayer, greetings, and orientation for the day

8:40 a.m. – Campus tour

9 a.m. – Head to class—Prospective students have the opportunity to sit in on one of the following classes:

  • Christian Conciliation – Dr. Matt Akers
  • New Testament Survey 2 – Professor Al Santos
  • Intro to Christian Ministries – Dr. Brad Thompson

10 a.m. – The Mid-America Difference – An opportunity to hear from the administrative offices

11 a.m. – Chapel – Dr. Michael Spradlin, President, Mid-America

12 p.m. – Lunch with the President

1 p.m. – Housing tours and campus-wide activity

Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary was founded in 1972. It currently offers dual-enrollment, associate, bachelor, and 32 accredited master and doctoral level programs to its students. It has a focus on students engaged in Gospel outreach; professors committed to Biblical inerrancy and personal evangelism; a passion for local ministry and global missions; and can help with debt-free graduation.
